Arlington Seguin Tournament
January 21, 2006
By: Spencer Admire
In the Summit JV game, we some only one shot by the forward Jacob Magdaleno, and some great saves by freshman keeper D.J. Sweet. In the 10th minute of the first half a tackle by the Summit D-Fenseman caused a foot injury to the Sophomore Midfielder Spencer Admire, (out for 2 weeks). This loss brings the JV. Blacks season record to 1-6.
In the Lamar JV I game, we saw a very few shots by the Martin Warriors, but again the keeping by D.J. sweet was some what outstanding, but again, a keeper cant expect a keeper to stop 20 shots on goal. This loss brings the JV. Black record to 1-7.
In the Bowie JV I game, we saw a much better offense, and midfield game, but we fell short again in a very tight 0-1 loss. The offense included a corner kick by sophomore Phillip Dixon to Freshman Ayman, went wide, and a few more good chances, but none capatilized, as the Warriors fall just short once more, to bring the record to 1-8
