Coach Yocom has a USSF “D” license, NSCAA National dipolma, NSCAA Regional and Advanced Regional license, NSCAA Goal Keeping I and II licenses. This is his is his eighth year coaching at the high school level and his second year at Martin. His record at Martin is 12-5-6 and career is 100-65-24 over a 8 year Head Coaching career. For the 2007 season at Martin, Coach Yocom and his Warriros won another Bi-District Championship and advanced to the Area Finals. The previous six years Coach Yocom was the Head Boys Soccer Coach at Keller High School. Coach Yocom took his Keller team to the playoffs, in 2005, winning the Bi-District Championship and reaching the Area Finals losing 1-0 to Plano West. Before Keller, Coach Yocom was an assistant coach for one year at his alma mater, Granbury High School.
His playing experience began at age 7, playing on recreational teams to select teams to high school and college at Southwest Texas State and Tarleton State. For the past four years, he has been a camp instructor at SMU for Schellas Hyndman as well as directing his own camp and working several others in the area.
Coach Yocom is currently coaching the 93 boys for Fort Worth FC in Classic D III. He is the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches, Region I, Assistant Director.
Coach Yocom and his wife of nine years Melanie are proud parents of their daughter, Landree age 7, and their son, Parker age 3.
On July 25th of 2008 they will celebrate their 10 year wedding anniversary

Bob Clark, JV Coach

Coach Clark attended Hardin-Simmons University, where he was a member of four conference championship football teams, one of which advanced to the National Semi-Finals in 2000. He made the Academic All-Conference team (American Southwest Conference) in 1999, 2000, and 2001.
Coach Clark coached for 4 years at Groveton High School, and at Kaufman High School for 1 year. Originally from West Columbia, Texas, Coach Clark currently lives in Arlington.

Ricky Albus, JV2 Coach
Coach Albus is a graduate of McMurry University 1992.
He has coached in Arlington since 1994. The first 8 years in Arlington were spent here at Martin as an assistant football coach. He also coached boys' and girls' track as well as the last 2 1/2 years here being the JV2 boys' soccer coach.
Since February 2002 he served as the head football coach/athletic coordinator at Arlington Seguin High School.
He recently returned to Martin to coach the JV2 soccer boys again.
Coach Albus is excited about the opportunity and looks forward to a great year. Martin has always been near to his heart and he is appreciative of the support and the warm welcome.
Coach Albus has been married to Teresa for 17 years and we have three children, Kaeley 15, Nick 11, and Cade 8.

Stan Mullin, JV1 and JV2 Coach

Coach Mullin grew up in Detroit, Michigan. He played football, tennis and swam at Detroit’s Cooley High School. Coach Mullin attended the University of Michigan, where he earned a B.S. in Geology.
Coach Mullin started playing soccer in Arlington’s and Ft. Worth’s Men’s Open Soccer Leagues and played for about 25 years. He also coached his sons in the ASA youth leagues for 10 years. During that time, Coach Mullin worked his way up to earning the USSF “D” coaching license.
Coach Mullin has been a science teacher at Martin since it opened in 1982. Before that, Coach Mullin taught science at Gunn Jr. High for 6 years. Coach Mullin currently teaches geology and chemistry at Martin. 2007-08 is Coach Mullin’s 32nd year as a teacher in Arlington ISD.
Coach Mullin has been married to his wife Carol for 33 years. Their sons Patrick, 23, and Jeff, 20, are both former Warriors. Jeff is still playing soccer at Texas Wesleyan University.
